The application is an integral part of the artistic installation "Probable (Im) Inscriptions" and uses augmented reality techniques to present hidden parts of the work installed in the UFRJ Technological Park as part of the 3rd Cycle (2018) of Galeria Corto Circuito.Collective:Julie Pires (EBA / UFRJ)Marcelo Ribeiro (EBA / UFRJ)Francisco Freitas (IFF / Itaperuna)Danielle Mendes (Letras / UFRJ)Laboratory of Computational Methods in Engineering (LAMCE / UFRJ)The valorization of deaf culture, in contemporary discourse, can be understood as recognition of the richness and diversity of language. Oliver Sacks (1998) noted that the representation of gestures differs from orality because it is closer to an ideographic language. From a different point of view, these gestures are shifted from the function of communication to give voice to other fundamental layers, such as the randomness of words and things before our eyes. These investigations unfold in visual practices that, in this work, explore the relations between the alphabetical writing, its sonority, and the LIBRAS through digital interaction between work and spectator.
